Lloyd moved to Dartmouth at a very young age and spent many weekends out on his grandfather’s angling boat.
Lloyd is highly experienced in the maritime sector having spent 22 years in the shell fishing industry. He gained his skippers ticket at age 23 and went on to skipper some of the largest shell fishing vessels in Europe, working in various locations from the tip of Scotland to the Channel Islands. He was helm of the Dart Lifeboat for a number of years.
Lloyd is currently Manager of the Lower Ferry where he has worked for the past 14 years. He hopes to assist the Dart Harbour Board with his vast commercial knowledge and experience.
