Sabre 27 – “Woody”
£2,600
The vessel is a Marcon Sabre 27 called “Woody”.
The vessel is suspected to have been constructed in the 1970s though this could not be confirmed.
The vessel was found finished in her original off white gelcoat on her hull and deck. She was found equipped with a reasonable if slightly aged navigation equipment. Though dirty, the visible areas of the decks were visibly fair, no significant deck damage was evident at this time. Teak decking was found fitted to part of the coachdeck, this was dirty and aged.
The vessel was found fitted with a Yanmar 2GM20 diesel engine – the engine could be turned over using the manual starting handle.
The vessels interior was found to be in generally dirty condition, though was generally sound with timber finishes generally fair. Mildew was widespread.
The vessels mast and rigging was standing – though suspect to be aged. The main sail and fore sail were seen rigged.
£3,500 – Sold as seen.
