Events and Rally bookings.

Dart Harbour is keen to welcome and support marine and river-based events and rally bookings. However, it is essential that appropriate safety measures are in place and that suitable facilities can be provided where necessary.

If you are considering hosting an event on the River Dart within our Harbour limits (From the weir at Totnes to approx 1 mile out to sea past the castles), please complete the form below, to start the request process.

Each event submitted to Dart Harbour for review is handled individually on a case by case basis, factors that will be considered are event type, number of entrants, time of year, amongst other things. Whilst unlikely, we may refuse an event request if we feel that it is not being safely managed.

Please be aware, the form below is not approval, but a request.

Other Waterborne events

Maritime events are varied and can consist of rowing and racing regattas, wild swimming events, paddle board or raft race events. These events also need to be approved by Dart Harbour and organisers need to send us full details of the event, safety boat information, risk assessments and insurance details at least one month before the event takes place.

Oragnised Rallies

Complete the form below to start the rally booking process.

Rallies can be organised by a yacht club, boating group or even a group of friends for a gathering of boats (8 or more), keeping you all together in your preferred mooring. We also offer a great group booking discount of 20%* off.

Please complete the form below at least 4 weeks before the rally, however earlier is better. To reserve your berths, you will need to pay 50% deposit. On arrival, the outstanding amount will need to be paid by the rally organiser. In the case that individual boats change then the total fee will be adjusted, but if the rally does not attend no refund will be made unless we are notified in advance for legitimate reasons such as poor weather.

*discount is applied in the form of 10% to visitor berthing and 10% to harbour dues. If an attending vessel already has Harbour Dues paid, they will still receive 10% discount on berthing fees.
