Pyrotechnic / Flare disposal

Coastguard stations will no longer be taking expired pyrotechnics for disposal after 31st December 2022.  It may be worth having a look through your lockers, and digging out any that are past their prime, and passing them to the coastguard before Christmas, to avoid the more complex arrangements that are in place in the new year!

Below is a summary from the Coastguard of the new arrangements from 2023.  A reminder that unfortunately Dart Harbour are unable to take flares.
