LNTM 11-25 – Head of the Dart Paddle – Saturday 5th April 2025

This local notice has been updated on 2nd April to reflect a change in the course and times of the event.

The annual Head of the Dart – Stand up paddle board event is taking place on the 5th April 2025

The course starts in Totnes at approx 11:00, heading downstream to Duncannon, then returning to Totnes to finish. There will be near 300 paddlers afloat. There is a mixture of abilities and as such, vessel wash should be kept to a minimum. 

Duncannon to Totnes will be extremely busy with paddle craft. Mariners are to navigate with extreme caution.

All mariners are to take advice from the water safety team and direction from the River Officers.
